I wish you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!!

Well, it is that joyous time of year! The lights, trees, candy, presents, resolutions and being with family is my absolute favorite thing in the world. I count down everyday to Christmas, especially when I am at school and really wishing the semester was over so I can go home and visit with my family!
This break has been amazing! We got to have Christmas on the 20th of December. My brother Blake had those days off and had to work Christmas Eve in Rexburg so we celebrated with him! It was fun, but then actual Christmas we really had nothing to do haha while everybody else was celebrating.
I love coming home and hanging out with old friends. They are some of the greatest. I have had three friends come home from their missions this month! I can't believe how fast time has gone by. They are still the great kids I knew before but now they are more than that they are amazing!

Over the break I got to go snowboarding with my cousins Chelsi, Mariah and Jordan and my lil' bro Devin. It was so much fun! I am not very good and fell a lot but it was definitely worth it!

Coming to an End...

I guess it is time for an update... I am finishing up my 6th semester here at BYU-Idaho and it just seems like I am not getting any closer to graduating. I have made some great new friends this semester and have grown even closer to old ones!
I have had the greatest roommates ever!
Of course there is Chelsi, she is the greatest, friend, cousin and roommate I could ever ask for! I am pretty sure I would never have lasted this long without her!
Little Nicole is just so sweet! She has been so much fun to live with and I just wish she would live with us forever.
Next we have Dawnyo, her real name is Dawna but we have fondly adopted the nickname Dawnyo... she is great and quite the comedian... also she is totally in love with my dear friend Matt and is so jealous that I dated him... :)
Emma... has been so much fun! She is the first engaged roommate I have ever had and I am so glad it was her. We have learned some great lessons from her.. :)
Last is Brit-Brit or Brittany, she is so cute! She works hard on her homework, which maybe I should be more like her! She is super sweet and always asks me how my day goes and I really appreciate that she cares!

I love them all soo much! I am sad that I won't get to live with them... Dawna, Chelsi and I are hoping to stay in Rexburg over the winter break... but I have to find a job first... I have applied at about 20 million places and haven't gotten one single interview... maybe I am just supposed to go home... but then I would have to find a job there... It's a tough task... pray for me.
I have loved having my brothers up here at school! It has been so nice to just be able to go visit them whenever I need to. They are seriously the greatest ever!
That is all for now... I will post again later!!

Thank You To All of the Veterans

Today is Veterans. As I was walking back from class I overheard a conversation. The boy said, I don't understand why we have veterans day, we already have the 4th of July. Obviously this boy didn't know what the 4th of July is... it is the celebration of our Nation's Independence. Veterans day is to celebrate those who fought and continue to fight and protect our freedoms that we are so blessed with here. It broke my heart that he cared so little about the men and women who have done so much for him.
I want to thank all the men and women through out the world who are serving our nation. I am so beyond grateful for the service that you do for me and my family and my country. I want to thank my father, my Grandpa Jensen, Grandpa Erickson, Uncle Lonny, Uncle Eric, my cousin Kevin, and all those who I have gone to school with who have taken it upon themselves to defend this country. You are all my heroes. I love you more than words can express.

Loving Life!

It is amazing what a new attitude can do for your day/week. These past couple of days have been so great! Are they perfect days? No way! But I decided that I am going to make the most of everything I am given and it has helped a lot! I have some of the greatest friends in the world. I couldn't have picked better friends! I have a job interview! I am so excited! I want to stay in Rexburg this winter so badly and I can't do that unless I have a job! So wish me luck! All of my roommates are out and about tonight, 2 of them are out of town and the other 3 are on dates... leaving little ol' me to be all by myself. I guess it was gonna happen sometime but it is for sure not my favorite. Luckily I have great brothers that live just a few steps away that I can visit! They are truly the best brothers ever!

This Roller Coaster Called Life...

Life is crazy sometimes. It throws some curve balls, but one thing that gets me through it all is my family. They are soo amazing! I love being able to have all of my brothers here at college to take care of me. It is such a blessing to have a wonderful mother just a phone call away! I love having a dad who will do anything for his family and I especially love my cute little sister!
I am so lucky to have been blessed with amazing grandparents, they love me unconditionally and support me in everything I do! What more could a girl want? I love my aunts and uncles and cousins and for the great family parties full of joy and laughter!
I am grateful for amazing friends! The Lord has truly blessed me with amazing people who I can lean on and go to for support!
I love this school! It is an amazing feeling knowing that this is the Lord's University!
I am grateful for the gospel and for everything that it does for me in my life. I don't know where I would be without it!

Back to School!

Well, it's just about time for me to start a new semester! I am excited. I am not excited for homework and such but I am happy to be back in Rexburg. I recently calculated that I have just about 20 classes left before I graduate! My mom says thats a lot but when you have been at school for 2 1/2 years you think its nothing. I am still trying to decide on a minor... it's between Event Planning and History. Maybe I should take a vote... Well I better decide soon... Its getting down to the wire.

SUMMER!!!!! It is finally summer vacation, for me at least! It has been way fun so far! Rafting, camping, working, fairs, it has been eventful!!! I am going to be sad when I go back to school!
My first weekend back I went rafting with my singles ward! It was so much fun and I got to meet lots of new people.
The next weekend I went to McCall with my family and my cousins it was soo much fun. Bike rides, sand volleyball, swimming, gambling, and ice cream! Nothing better!
Went to the Malheur County fair with my brother, sister and Dev's friend Spencer. It was pretty fun, it rained a lot though, but it was a good experience.
Today my family has spent the whole day trying to clean out our irrigation line... it has been quite an adventure, luckily we had Devin to operate the back-ho!! That's all for now!

I have some pretty amazing FHE brothers! They are hilarious 99.9% of the time. Hopefully I can get some pics up soon! Catch ya'll later!!!
